Reseller Overview

Learn about Scriptix's reseller functionality for partners who manage multiple customer organizations.

What is a Reseller?

A reseller is a partner organization with the RESELLER role that can:

  • Manage multiple customer organizations - Create and oversee organizations
  • Monitor usage - Track transcription usage across customers
  • Custom branding - Add organization logo and brand color
  • Manage customer details - Update customer information and status

Managing Customer Organizations

View all customer organizations on the Reseller page with columns: ID, Name, Email, Phone, Status, Registration Date.

Create Organization: Click "New Organization" → fill form (Name*, Email*, Phone) → submit. Validation: required fields, valid email format, international phone format.

Delete Organization: Select organization → Delete → confirm.

Customer Organization Details

Click organization name to view details page with 5 tabs:

  1. Subscription - Plan and billing information
  2. Usage - Metrics, hours processed, transcriptions (with date range filtering)
  3. Tokens - API token management
  4. Users - User management
  5. Transcriptions - Transcription details and processing status

Edit customer name, email, phone, or status (Active/Inactive). Save button appears when changes detected.

Branding

Customize platform appearance with logo and brand color. Access via Profile → Organization Details → Brand section (resellers only).

Upload Logo: Upload image (any format) → appears in navigation. Replace or delete anytime.

Set Brand Color: Click color picker → select color → applies to UI elements automatically.

User Roles

RESELLER Role: Manage customer organizations, access reseller dashboard, view all customer data, create/edit/delete organizations.

RESELLEE Role: Standard customer access within their organization. Cannot access reseller features.

Reseller vs Regular Organization

Reseller Organization: RESELLER role, creates customer organizations, reseller dashboard access, cross-customer usage view, branding options (logo + color).

Regular Organization: Standard roles (CUSTOMER, CONTRIBUTOR), manages own organization only, no reseller features or branding.

RESELLEE Organization: Created by reseller, RESELLEE role for users, managed by parent reseller, standard features within organization.
