Understanding Organizations
What is an Organization?
In Scriptix, an organization represents your company or entity:
- Your organization contains all users in your account
- Users within an organization can collaborate on documents
- Organizations have subscription plans and settings
- Organization administrators manage users and settings
Organization Structure
- Organization - Your company (e.g., "Acme Corporation")
- Users - Team members within the organization
- Roles - Different permission levels for users
- Shared Resources - Documents, folders, glossaries within the organization
User Roles
Scriptix has different user roles with varying levels of access:
SYSOP (System Operator)
- Full system-level access
- Back-office administration
- System configuration
- Not a typical user role
ORGADMIN (Organization Administrator)
- Manage organization settings
- Manage users and teams
- Access all organization documents
- Configure organization preferences
- Manage billing and subscriptions
CONTRIBUTOR
- Create and upload files

- Edit own documents

Folders and Permissions
Folder Organization
Folders can be used to organize documents within your workspace:
Folder Types:
- Shared Folders - Accessible to all organization members
- Private Folders - Restricted access with team permissions
Folder Permissions:

Team Permissions:
- When creating a private folder, you can assign team permissions
- Select which teams have access
- Set permission level for each team (No Access, Read, or Write)
- Shared folders are accessible to all organization members

Magic Links
Share documents with anyone using magic links:
Features:
- Generate shareable links from editor
- Recipients don't need Scriptix accounts

- Documents must be finalized first
