Audio Quality Recommendations

For best transcription results:

  • Bit Depth: 16-bit or higher
  • Channels: Mono or Stereo
  • Clear Speech: Minimize background noise and overlapping voices
  • Good Microphone: Use quality recording equipment when possible

Tips for Better Quality

  • Record in a quiet environment
  • Position microphone close to speakers
  • Avoid heavily compressed audio formats when possible
  • Use lossless formats (WAV, FLAC) for archival-quality recordings

Browser Compatibility

All input and output formats work with modern browsers. See System Requirements for browser compatibility details.
